Linda Schroeder Golding was formally trained as a watercolorist and print maker, but her talents and interests don't end there. She is also an accomplished fiber and mixed media artist.
Linda may be best known at Artistree Gallery for her healing sticks. These beautifully carved and painted pieces begin as sticks chewed by beavers - she finds them while taking long walks. Linda began creating these healing sticks while employed as a crisis mental health professional. Because this work could be traumatic at times, she felt the need to focus on a healing form of art for herself. She’s dedicated to passing that healing on to others through her art.
Now retired from her work as a clinical social worker, she resides in Menominee, Michigan and is committed to producing her art full-time.
