ARTIST: BARBARA FRIEDMAN

As an artist and Horticulturist, I focus on the natural beauty that is found in the woods, gardens, and wild areas. I create my still life and Plein air paintings converging my primary inspirations of art and nature. I set up my studio still life paintings using beautiful everyday objects and familiar edibles and flowers.  Working with the colors of nature, the play of the sharp  edges and softened edges, brings you the viewer into the painting. 

I teach oil and water color classes and my work can be seen at Artistree Gallery in Land O Lakes.
