ARTIST: COLLEEN ANSBAUGH

Living in the “Up North” Nicolet National forest provides the backbone of inspiration for Colleen Ansbaugh’s art work. Trees, lakes and the glacier  trail are often captured by her with fabric, paint or a combination of medias. Her photography of the local area plays an important role while working in the studio. Other times, she creates plein air compositions in outdoor settings, simplifying directly from nature. Colleen Ansbaugh invites the viewer to step closer and shares her vision of the world.
