ARTIST: CHERYL CAMPBELL

My love of carving encouraged me to aspire to realism and my impatience inspired me to use a chainsaw.  I learned safety, proportion, and the skills necessary to work with logs in 2004 and have enjoyed the challenge ever since.  In 2022, I assimilated resin into my work, making tables that showcase the beauty found in local wood species and advancing to lakeshore representations.  Today, there is a representation of old techniques and new, fresh trends and charming established traditions in both carving and resin work.
